   Fishing Plotter Files

The GPS plotter files display the submarine cables as a user layer, and are compatible with the Litton Fishmaster, Transas NaviFisher 3000, Chartworx/Quodfish (ED50), TM Planner, Sodena Turbo 2000 (DOS & Win), TRAX, Maxsea, SIS Microplot, Penta and Winfish systems. You should select the appropriate file for compatibility with your plotter. These files are self-extracting.  When you have downloaded the file, you should first click the downloaded file which will run the self-extractor. Then select the directory where you want to save the file contents. Finally, copy the extracted files to a floppy disk and insert the disk into your fishing plotter.

Route Position List - Microsoft Excel

You can download the route position lists of the cables in the form of an Excel spreadsheet which contains listings of all the cables. These co-ordinates have been derived from our cable awareness charts. In order to reduce the number of co-ordinates, the list of positions has been reduced using a special method known as thinning. This method removes only those points which lie almost exactly in a straight line. The co-ordinate lists have been thinned to preserve an accuracy of 10 meters. The reduced list size means it is possible to manually enter these co-ordinates into your GPS plotter. Datum: WGS84.
